Some Key Challenges in Change Management

 - organisational changes, ie people doing different jobs and/or same job differently, organisational structural changes, etc
- lack of leadership commitment, ie top management not demonstrating enough support for the change initiative
- staff retention, ie employee turnover means new staff with different perspectives, etc
- differences between stakeholder groups as shown by their needs, culture, leadership styles, etc
- external environmental changes such as the impact of Covid 19, technology, etc (many times these are unpredictable)
- resistance to change, ie preference for the status quo and staying in the familiar comfort zone, uncertain future, etc
