Some Key Success Factors in Change Management

- Leadership (formal and informal) support and engagement in the change
- Mindset changes, ie understanding and acceptance of the change at all levels of the organisation; resistors/detractors who become change supporters, etc
- Hard-core team (around 7) who will push the change initiatives through the organisation
- Influential network of change enablers/supporters who are trained in implementation techniques; willing to experiment, ie trial and error; are provided with necessary technical support
- Constant communications, ie success stories, reinforcement of key messages, etc
- Regular, authentic feedback from all stakeholders
- Measurement of  progress using objective key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Use short PDCA (plan, do, check & act) cycles.
