- more coaching, selling, facilitating, etc than telling, instructing, etc, ie encouraging staff to find their own answers; this encourages ownership/buy-in
- move from 'push' to 'pull', ie from 'tell and sell' to being invited by participants to be involved.
- encourage innovation and experimentation (trial and error), ie try something new and/or different, etc
- retraining your ego, ie allow clients to take credit for success, etc
