Introduction
Divide the change into 3 stages: planning, implementation and institutionalising; use these questions check your effectiveness:

  What is the future state?
  What will change mean to individuals?
  How will the driving forces, ie pressing for change, be strengthened?
  How will the restraining forces, ie preventing change, be weakened?
  What will change consist of?
  How will the change be introduced?
Implementation How is control to be maintained, ie making the change, will current operations still continue?
  How is feedback to be collected, analysed and acted upon?
  How will anxiety and resistance to change be handled?
Institutionalising How will the change be embedded in the organisation?
